In the United States, we celebrate Independence Day on July 4th, but did you know families around the world have their own day and way of celebrating Independence Day for their home country? Learn about them at this resource!

Mandela Day

Kids will learn about Nelson Mandela and why he has his own International Day on July 18th.

International Day of Friendship

The idea behind this day is that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities.
